Hunt Transportation, founded in 1927, is an irregular route motor common and contract carrier operating between all points in the 48 contiguous United States, Canada, and Mexico. Hunt Transportation is a member of the Crete Carrier companies which includes the Crete Carrier van division and the Shaffer Trucking refrigerated division. The Hunt Transportation flatbed division operates as a truckload carrier of virtually any commodity and extends service to all those having a need for efficient service, including LTL and Brokerage services. Our focus has been to be a low-cost provider of quality transportation and logistic services; to maximize the utilization of our assets; to listen our customers, and deliver more than you expect.

From our corporate headquarters and central dispatch located in Omaha, NE, we supervise an extensive fleet of modern equipment operated by experienced drivers serving shippers and receivers throughout the country. Our professional drivers are among the best on the highways, meeting standards far exceeding those required by the U.S. Department of Transportation. As a result, we have one of the lowest driver turnover ratios in our industry.
