2. Plates & Permits and Tractor Relicense Credit The company purchases the plates and permits when you lease your tractor on and you then reimburse the company this cost at the rate of $44 per week throughout the year. At the end of each calendar year, the company will credit its Owner/Operators with a tractor relicense incentive to be used to offset the Owner/Operator's annual cost of relicensing the equipment. An Owner/Operator furnishing a tractor to the company for the full calendar pursuant to the Option 1 compensation plan, will receive a tractor relicense incentive credit computed at the rate of $0.06 per mile for each paid mile delivered during the year which is in excess of 90,000 delivered paid miles. The incentive credit is calculated each January based on the number of paid miles delivered by the Owner/Operator's tractor during the previous calendar year. The maximum credit cannot exceed the Owner/Operator's actual prorate-licensing expense for that tractor for the following calendar year. To be eligible for the relicense credit, the Owner/Operator must have a current active Operating Agreement with the company and must actually relicense the credit earning tractor for the full year following the year in which the relicensing credit was earned. For tractors furnished under Operating Agreements commencing after January 1 of any year, the mileage requirements to qualify for the tractor relicense credit are prorated. 3. IRA Contribution The company will make an annual incentive payment to its Owner/Operators based on consecutive years of operation under contract with the company and on the number of delivered miles traveled during the year. The incentive payment is in the form of a contribution to the Owner/Operator's individual retirement account (IRA). The IRA contribution program requires an Owner/Operator under lease to the company to generate a minimum of 90,000 delivered miles per calendar year and have his or her qualifying tractor active and under lease to the company on February 15th of the year following the calendar year the tractor qualified for the payment. Once eligible, the Owner/Operator is able to receive an IRA distribution of $500 per year up to $1,500 per year. IRA incentive payments to Fleet Owner/Operators operating more than one tractor under contract with the company will be based on the number of the Fleet Owner/Operator's tractors which meet the minimum annual mileage requirement of 90,000 miles. A company driver purchasing his or her own tractor and immediately making that tractor available to the company under an Operating Agreement with the company so that there is no break in service, will be allowed to include the driver's consecutive full calendar years of service as a company driver in computing "Consecutive Full Calendar Years of Operation" under this policy.
